Wild Ones Meeting - Tour and Presentations

Event Description
The Northland Arboretum is currently exploring options to restore or reclaim portions of Whiskey Creek within the Arboretum grounds.
This month, the Brainerd Chapter of Wild Ones hosts a discussion of the role of native plants in maintaining a healthy watershed.
Our speakers include Bruce Wilson, Senior Scientist with MPCA’s Stormwater Technical Assistance Unit and Brian Ross, Environmental Scientist with Widseth Smith Nolting in Baxter.
Following the presentations, the speakers will answer questions and lead a discussion with the audience on ideas for future restoration projects.
