The Brainerd Mayor will say a few words and Brainerd History Week committee members will be on hand to answer questions. Pioneer Days featuring 1914 steam engine operation, log sawing, shingle making, black powder demo, museum in motion, parade. Admission fee includes amusement park. We will be visiting the final resting places of WW I veterans and victims of the 1918 Spanish Influenza epidemic. Kenn Shepherd will be the ride leader. This is considered a guided tour and a “no drop group ride” meaning that nobody gets left behind. Rental rate will be $30 but could vary upon your desired type of ride. This ride is approximately 12 miles one way. Contact Easy Riders for more information and to get registered. Includes information about the history of Old Crow Wing and the 150th Anniversary of the Assassination of Chief Hole-in-the-Day. To get to the Beaulieu House: Drive straight ahead from park entrance station to picnic shelter area parking lot. There is a path and boardwalk on north end that leads to the Beaulieu House. The picnic shelter has been reserved as well in case of bad weather. A daily park pass is $7 if you do not already have a year pass purchased.
