About Us

Each year the Lakes Area Music Festival of Minnesota brings 200 artists from the nation's best orchestras and opera companies for a month-long festival of chamber music, orchestra, and opera. Additional educational activities for all ages, and community outreach program designed to meet underserved audiences align with the formal performances. The organization raises the cultural literacy and world-class performing arts experiences for permanent and seasonal residents, and visitors of Central Minnesota. In order to promote accessibility, each concert is presented without set ticket fees admission, ensuring an inclusive and socioeconomically diverse audience at each performance.
