Class includes a heated yoga flow to pacify excess kapha (water and earth) in the body that naturally increases during late winter and spring. This is that heavy/sluggish/lethargic feeling we sometimes experience during the winter and spring months. Though it naturally occurs, it is important to find balance. This class will work to incorporate metabolic invigorating movement with chest openers and energizing pranayama. This style of practice helps with removing excess cold, wet, and heavy qualities by stimulating the lungs and kidneys. You’ll then make your own fire cider, which is good for bringing in those bitter, pungent, and astringent tastes to clear excess mucus and open the channels of the body that you get to take home!
*bring a mat, towel, and water (mats available for use on a first come first serve basis)
*bring your favorite jar with a lid if you'd like for the fire cider, otherwise, we'll have a jar for you! (Once made you get to take it home. The cider sits for 30 days before it can be consumed.)
