About Us

The Nisswa Motel is located just one block from the shops and the restaurants of downtown Nisswa. The hard-surface Paul Bunyan Trail for biking, walking, rollerblading, and snowmobiling is also just a block away, and you don't have to cross a highway to access the trail. It's just a short drive to several premiere golf courses and fine dining establishments.
The Nisswa Motel has 17 clean, comfortable units; most of the rooms are non-smoking and no pets. Dogs (only dogs) are welcome in the three smoking rooms and in two specific large non-smoking rooms ($5 nightly charge per dog; limit of two dogs per room).
We offer a variety of room sizes, prices, and bed configurations--most standard rooms have two doubles, most large rooms have two queens, and a few rooms have one queen or one king. Our large rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, and DVDs; all rooms have comfortable beds, in-room coffee, cable TV (but no premium channels), and quiet air conditioners. Free wireless internet can be accessed from most rooms.
Prices are based on single or double adult occupancy; no charge for minor children with their parent(s). Prices subject to 6.5% Minnesota sales tax. Ample parking for boats/trailers and secure bicycle storage. Come stay with us and we think you will agree that the Nisswa Motel is one of the best lodging values in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
