Take a step back in time when the primary mode of travel was by train. Nisswa was a thriving community of loggers, settlers and tourists.

Enjoy a self guided tour of historic Pioneer Village. This will give you a glimpse of a quieter, more peaceful life at the turn of the century. Take time to relax in the sitting area alongside the Heritage Garden.

While visiting Pioneer Village, make sure to walk across the street and go through our original restored depot and caboose. Kids of all ages enjoy climbing aboard the wooden stationary train in the sitting park.

Pioneer Village serves as the venue for the annual Nisswa Stamman Festival, held in early June.

Consider using Pioneer Village for your events! Weddings, family reunions, business get togethers. For further information please call (218) 963-3570.
