The Legacy Chorale & Legacy Youth Chorale in Brainerd
See the Legacy Chorale & Legacy Youth Chorale at Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts in Brainerd on Saturday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m.
The Treble Singers and Mixed Voice Singers, elementary and middle school choirs, will begin the concert with a moving program called ?Build Me a World? which explores core themes such as community, friendship, and care for the earth. Listeners will be encouraged to envision the kind of world that they want to be part of. The Legacy Youth Chorale program is directed by Kennedy Niska and accompanied by Koreann Martin and Jennifer Person.
The concert program will continue with the Legacy Chorale, who will perform Schubert?s Mass in G as well as selections from The Sound of Music. The Legacy Chorale is a Brainerd-based auditioned adult choir that has presented over 100 live choral concerts across Greater Minnesota since the fall of 2002. The Legacy Chorale is directed by Michael Smith and accompanied by Laura Raedeke.
