Press Operator

Second Shift, 2pm-midnight, Monday through Thursday
Responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions. Meets safety, housekeeping, quality, scrap and productivity quality standards. Sets up and operates a flexographic printing press.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
At least 3 years press or printing related production experience preferred
Knowledge of/understanding of flexgraphic printing process/equipment
Excellent skills are required in reading, writing, spoken communication
Must be proactive and detail oriented to catch problems or inconsistencies and bring them to management's attention
Excellent multitasking and problem solving skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to accurately complete high volumes of work
Knowledge of press operation and basic troubleshooting
Should be mechanically inclined to grasp the basics of press operation and maintenance
Constant lifting, standing, crouching, walking and associated repetitive tasks
Ability to do all duties described plus regular requirments of safely lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs, 10-20 feet in distance regularly; 75 lbs+ occasionally,

$21-$25/hour, depending upon qualifications
