Digital Marketing Specialist/Staff Support

Job Type: Part-time 20 hours per week

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Nisswa Chamber online presence, engaging with our audience, and developing content to promote Nisswa and its Chamber members. You will collaborate closely with our President to develop and execute social media across various platforms. You will also be playing a key support role with day-to-day operations of the organization.
Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement social media strategies to increase awareness and engagement, grow following.
*Develop the social media calendar.
*Understand and utilize the Nisswa “brand” in all communications.
*Maintain the website.
*Respond to inquiries and comments on social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
*Collaborate with the President and stay up to date on trends, practices, and platforms.
*Assist Chamber staff in day-to-day operation of the Chamber of Commerce. When needed, serve as the first person of contact to ensure a positive and professional experience.
*Answer phones and provide general information to members and the public.
*Assist with event planning and coordination of Chamber events throughout the year.
*Assist in member retention and growth strategies.
Requirements:
*Proven work experience as a Digital Marketer.
*Knowledge of various social media platforms, their metrics, and analytics.

*Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
*Creativity and ability to produce engaging content.
*Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
*Professional demeanor and customer focused approach.
*Background in Marketing, Communications, Customer Service, or related fields.
