What You'll Do
Customer Engagement & Styling
- Build genuine relationships with customers - this isn't a behind-the-counter cashier position!
- Learn our diverse product lines including clothing, natural fiber textiles, and jewelry to provide expert recommendations
- Encourage customers to "Try it on!" and help them discover pieces they'll love
- Create a welcoming, comfortable shopping atmosphere where customers feel valued
Sales & Operations
- Use Shopify POS system for customer checkout and inventory management
- Maintain store organization through restocking merchandise and keeping displays tidy
- Adapt to our seasonal rhythm: fast-paced summers and quieter winters (right now hiring for summer)
- Prioritize customers while staying productive with side-work during slower periods
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualities
- Genuine enjoyment of working with customers
- Enthusiasm for learning about our unique merchandise
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic & busy, seasonal environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities
Bonus Skills (Tell us what you bring to the table!)
- Experience with Shopify POS or Canva
- Interest in marketing, social media, or email marketing
- Photography skills
- Inventory management experience
- Any other talents you'd like to develop with us!
