Shipping & Packaging

First Shift: 6:30am-2:30pm Mon-Fri
This position is responsible for shipping all products created in our facility in a timely and efficient manner.e Shipping & Packaging Department supports daily activities and personnel as directed by the Production Supervisor and the specific requirements of the customer.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage shipping documents (shipping labels, packing slips, bill of lading, bar code labels, etc.
Follow shipping instruction set by products. Routes outgoing shipments through various means of transportation
Pack and box product. Label, weight, and stack on pallets or carts. Place in designated areas such as shipping zones or inventory
For certain jobs utilize the pallet jack, shrink wrapper, taper or other means to retrieve, prpared and/or stock material.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times
File shipping documents; maintain shipment history files
Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
Additional duties as assigned
$18-$20/hour depending upon qualifications
